Tan is the Founder and the CEO of Vemanti Group. He started the company in 2014, bringing more than 25 years of seasoned high-tech industry experience, solid computer hardware/software and telecommunications knowledge, strong domestic and International sales/marketing expertise, and executive management background to his role with the company. He oversees the general corporate direction and strategy for Vemanti Group. Prior to founding the company, he worked at various leading technology companies from 1988-2004 including Western Digital, SMC Networks, Sync Research, Alcatel-Lucent, Veraz Networks, GenBand, Fronde, Metaswitch Networks, and Exalt Communications where he held a variety of management, operations, sales, and marketing roles, covering U.S., Canada, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America markets with revenues in multiples of tens of millions. During that span, he gained expertise in the areas of market/product development, sales/revenue planning and execution for both International and US markets; helping tier-1 service providers and banking institutions develop business and revenue strategies around next-generation network architecture.
He was featured in local Vietnamese business publications as an up-and-coming tech entrepreneur to watch. Since founding Vemanti Group, Tan has worked to share Vemanti’s strategy and vision with customers, partners, shareholders, and investors. His mission is to turn Vemanti Group into an investment and incubation platform for emerging companies with great growth potential, especially in Vietnam which continues to be an economic force on both a regional and global scale.

Steve is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer, Board Member and Committee Chair with capability honed from decades of corporate leadership, enterprise scale-up, and management consulting in global markets. A highly effective commercial tactician, he is adept at setting strategic direction, building culture, developing teams, and transforming business operations to support acquisition/divestment, fund raising, and IPO programs in competitive global markets. The hallmark of Steve’s success is his ability to translate sophisticated business strategy, market knowledge, and competitor insights into tactical business plans, sales strategies, and customer-centric solutions that have delivered substantial gains in profits and shareholder value.
He has been characterized by others as an energizing and engaging business leader, equally successful in building collaborative partnerships with senior corporate executives, Boards of Directors, and investors as well as front-line operating teams around the globe. He is a unique combination of strategist, visionary, operating executive, turnaround specialist, and company advocate. He strongly supports developing the next generation of corporate executives in an organization and plays an important role in acting as a lifelong mentor to aspiring business leaders in the teams he oversees.

As Vemanti’s General Counsel, Mark advises the leadership team on a variety of legal and business matters, and manages our core legal functions, including SEC securities and regulatory compliance. Mark is the Managing Partner of Crone Law Group, specializing in the corporate, securities and other regulatory aspects of global business ventures across a diverse array of industries between companies in the U.S. with Asia, Central and South America, Russia, Africa, Australia and the Middle East.
With almost twenty-five years of global legal, corporate and investment banking experience, Mark represents both U.S. and foreign corporations across a wide range of industries. His broad experience includes public and private equity and debt security financings, international mergers and acquisitions, angel, venture capital and private equity financings, project finance, banking and financial instruments, secured debt transactions, going private transactions, foreign direct investment and corporate law and governance. Mark regularly assists his clients with overcoming challenging government and regulatory issues confronting them in global emerging markets, including developing and implementing strategies to maximize opportunities, minimize risks, and accomplish their strategic goals.

As Director of Operations and an upper management official, Ernie defines, implements, and oversees operational policies and guidelines for the Company. His 30+ years career spans across multiple senior leadership roles that include Global Sales Operations, Senior Marketing Manager, Sales Revenue Recovery Finance & Contract Operations, and Business Development/Investments Manager. Through his experience at both startups and Fortune 500 corporations in Silicon Valley, he has developed strong expertise in the design and implementation of management solutions for Operations, Support, Marketing, Sales, Customer Interaction and Employee Training. His solid knowledge in customer interactions including technical support, training, seminars, and web-based tools.
He enjoys leading inter-departmental interactions among team members from Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Development as a way to achieve a better understanding of important company dynamics in order to cohesively attain improved product solutions and end-user experience. Currently, Ernie works closely with the Company’s executive team to develop and execute operational growth directives. He’s also responsible for overseeing client support services and managing expenditure, procurement and resource allocation.

For the past 15 years, Ashley has helped companies of all sizes, from startups to enterprise giants, achieve their marketing objectives, reach their target audiences, and craft strong relationships with the press. With a keen eye for competitive differentiators and a knack for standout company messaging, Ashley has helped grow and scale corporations in both the U.S. and internationally. Ashley’s experience includes working within multiple leading marketing agencies and as Director of Marketing for several prominent companies, focused mainly on the bustling tech industry.

Utilizing her knowledge and subject-matter expertise on US GAAP, IFRS, SEC and PCAOB, Catherine is in charge of our day-to-day duties of bookkeeping and fiscal financial planning. She prepares the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis including financial statements and year-end audit preparation for the Company. She’s also responsible for providing disclosures, applying areas of GAAP as necessary, and documenting, validating, testing and assessing various internal control policies on those reports. As the Company’s primary contact for basic accounting matters and information, she’s involved in reviews and agreed-upon procedure engagements with our auditor on ongoing SEC reporting requirements.
